QPLUS RECAP | Sustainability becomes stronger when it is built into the way organizations operate.

On September 11, 2026, 18 participants from three companies across Luzon and the Visayas joined our ISO 14001:2026 Environmental Management System Awareness Public Seminar at Harolds Hotel in Cebu City.

Led by Engr. Genelyn F. Macaya, the session gave participants an opportunity to understand the new edition and reflect on how environmental considerations can be incorporated into organizational processes, decisions, and objectives.

One important takeaway: an Environmental Management System should not function as a separate set of documents. It should help the organization make better decisions about environmental impacts, compliance obligations, resource use, risks, and continual improvement.

ISO 14001 provides a framework for improving environmental performance, reducing waste and resource consumption, strengthening compliance, and building stakeholder confidence.
