Introduction to Value Stream Mapping (VSM)

Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is a Lean management tool used to analyze, design, and improve the flow of materials and information required to deliver products or services to customers. It provides a visual representation of current processes and helps organizations identify waste, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

This training introduces participants to the fundamentals of Value Stream Mapping and its role in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Participants will learn how to map current processes, distinguish value-added from non-value-added activities, identify process inefficiencies, and develop future-state maps that support operational excellence.
